Blueprints is a term used to refer to a plan or plans. A blueprint is a type of paper-based reproduction usually of a photographic print in white on a bright blue ground or blue on white ground used especially for copying maps, mechanical drawings, and architects’ plans.
Traditional blueprints have largely been replaced by more modern, less expensive printing methods and digital displays.
