HACR is a circuit breaker that has been tested and found suitable for use on heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment. The circuit breaker is marked with letters HACR. Equipment that is suitable for use with HACR-type breakers will be marked for use with HACR-type circuit breakers.
